Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2019

We're celebrating another round of Modern Warfare games with a doubles Modern Warfare 2019 tournament on Xbox One. This will be a paid tournament, with each team of two putting $10 towards the payout pot. First place goes home with 40% of the pot, second gets 10%. The more teams show up, the bigger the prize. Easy, right?

This tournament has a custom ruleset setup by the event coordinator. The rules are:

-Will be played on XBOX ONE

-Double elimination.

-Winner’s Bracket team finalist has to be defeated twice by the loser’s bracket finalist.

-Matches are one game, 40 seconds in each round, with every round a different gun setup and throwables, 1 life per team member, 100 health on each life

-The first team to get 6 points first wins the set and tournament round.

-The way to score points is to.. 

1.Kill the enemy team before time runs out.

2. if time runs out (and both teams have at least one member alive) there will be a “Overtime flag” that will spawn near the center of the map which needs to be stood on for 4 seconds to capture it, the flag has a timer of 10 seconds and will reset as a person “touches” the flag area.

3. If the 40 seconds time runs out, if the “Overtime flag” 10 second timer runs out (without any team member capturing it) then the team with the more collective Health/HP would earn a point for the round [if both teams have the same amount of health and all types of timers run out of time it is a Draw and no one gets a point]

-There is no health regen.

-No killcam upon dying

-Friendly fire

-A 8 sided die will be rolled for the 7 maps if it lands on 8 both teams can pick a map and it will go to a coin flip for what map.

3. Pine
4. Hill
5. Docks
6. Gulag Showers
7. Stack
8. Coin flip (teams picking)

-Finals for losers and winners bracket with be best of 3 Games.

-The final Finals will be best of 5 games.

We have controllers to use and headsets but we Strongly recommend bringing your own controller and headset.

-(You can have elite controllers) {But no auto shooting controllers}

-(No mouse and keyboards)  

These rules are subject to change.

As always, while controllers can be provided, we strongly recommend you bring your own, as loaners are limited. Rules are subject to change as the event coordinator sees fit.
