About the Event

Please join us in a celebration of the grand-daddy of online console shooters, Halo: Combat Evolved. Get yourself a weapon and finish the fight. Please also join us in another Smash Ultimate tournament.

Halo: Combat Evolved rules:

-Game will be played on Xbox Classic.

-Double elimination.

-Winner's bracket finalist has to be defeated twice by the loser's bracket finalist.

-Matches are best two-out-of-three rounds. Rounds will be to 25 kills with a 10-minute time limit.

-The map will be locked to Wizard, unless both players agree on a different map. (Within reason. Sorry kids, no Blood Gulch.)

-Radar will be enabled.

-Respawn time will be set to 5 seconds, with a 10-second suicide penalty.

-All other settings will be default.

Smash Ultimate rules:

-Double elimination.

-Winner's bracket finalist has to be defeated twice by the loser's bracket finalist.

-Matches are best two-out-of-three rounds. Rounds are three stocks with a seven minute time limit with items, smash meter, and spirits turned off.

-Mii Fighters of all builds are allowed.

-The first stage in the three-round match will be random Battlefield. After that, the loser of the previous round chooses what stage to fight on.

-Allowed stages are any Battlefield or Omega stage, along with Town and City, Pokemon Stadium 2, and Smashville.

-If both competitors agree on a different stage, others may be used.

As always, controllers can be provided, but it is strongly recommended that you bring your own.  These rules are subject to change as suggestions are made.  Payouts will be in M&M Store Credit, to the tune of $10 to first and $5 to second for each tournament. Good luck, and have fun!
