About the Event

Slap City is a favorite of many people involved with the running of Saturday Night Slam, so we figured we'd slap it in the schedule and see what happens. It's got a cast of wacky characters from Ludocity's Ittle Dew series, from a super-buff platypus, to a denim-wearing hotdog man. We've still got Smash going on as well, as tradition states we should.

Slap City ruleset:

-Double elimination

-Winner's bracket finalist has to be defeated twice by the loser's bracket finalist

-Matches are best two-out-of-three rounds. Rounds are four stocks with an eight minute time limit.

-The first stage in the three-round match will be Temple of Null. Loser chooses the stage for the next round.

-Stage pool is Temple of Null, Pepperpain Valley, Fancy Ruins, Saturnian Palace, Meadow Valley, and Mecha Santa's Workshop.

-If both competitors agree on a different stage, others may be used.

Smash Ultimate ruleset:

-Double elimination

-Winner's bracket finalist has to be defeated twice by the loser's bracket finalist

-Matches are best two-out-of-three rounds. Rounds are three stocks with a seven minute time limit with items, smash meter, and spirits turned off.

-Mii Fighters of all builds are allowed.

-The first stage in the three-round match will be random Battlefield. After that, the loser of the previous round chooses what stage to fight on.

-Allowed stages are any Battlefield or Omega stage, along with Town and City, Pokemon Stadium 2, and Smashville.

-If both competitors agree on a different stage, others may be used.

As always, controllers can be provided, but it is strongly recommended that you bring your own.  These rules are subject to change as suggestions are made.  Payouts will be in M&M Store Credit, to the tune of $10 to first and $5 to second for each tournament. Good luck, and have fun!
